Topshop Infrared

I have a confession for you, I never ever shop in Topshop. I know that this pretty much amounts to a kind of fashion blasphemy but what can I say, I just haven’t got in to that habit yet. It’s not so much the clothes – they are so very pretty – but it is the sizes and I often find myself leaving there empty handed and with my fragile self-esteem knocked back. So I’ve just stopped going in there and as a result I have largely missed out on their alluring beauty lines. My make-up collection is regretful of this, my bank statement, not so much.

I mean sure I’ve seen the hype, I’ve seen them in magazines and being raved about on many a blog but I hadn’t decided to purchase any myself. Largely because I hadn’t been in there and hence the opportunity had yet to present itself. Yet when I saw the gorgeous Zoella wearing Topshop Infared in one of her vlogs– the kind of colour that I go gaga over- I knew I had to get my paws on it.

Topshop infared is the perfect orange-red shade and is the kind of shade that makes me feel at my most confident. I find that orange-red shades are really flattering on my skintone, it adds a glow and seems to compliment my hazel-green eyes. This shade has something of MAC Lady Danger about it and is definitely a dupe for to the more luxurious MAC offering (£8.00, Infrared).

Considering it’s pocket friendly price tag, the actual lipstick is worth ten times the cost and the consistency is to die for! It lasts ages and feels incredible, making my lips look plump and much more pretty. It’s defiantly one of the best high-street lipsticks that I have ever tried and given the worthy price tag, I’m definitely going to be ordering a few more when the time is right. Or more to the point, when my bank balance is feeling more flushed!!

Do you like topshop lipsticks?
