So that’s it – 2016 is finally done and dusted, time for a new year and a new start.
I know this view is pretty outdated but it’s an idea that I personally really need at this point in my life. I need to feel that something new is beginning.
I’ve mentioned this a few times lately but I’m sick of always feeling this way, of always being glad that a year is finished and a new one has begun. I’m sick of old habits sticking around and I’m sick of never feeling that I’ve not achieved anything that year.
I’m determined that 2017 is going to be different and instead of just setting myself the usual goals I’ve made a complete, detailed action plan for what I want to achieve this year and when.
I’ve also made a commitment to keep on top of these goals by posting regular monthly updates, making me somehow accountable for how much progress I have actually made.
So enough chatting this are my goals for 2017.
Career – This time next year I want to be able to say that I am in a full-time job that I love. I have an idea of where and what this is exactly but that part I would rather keep to me for now.
Debt – This time next year I will have paid off all my outstanding debt.
Novel – This time next year I will have finally had my novel published.
Health – This time next year I will have finally hit my healthy target weight. I will have also improved my mental health.
Business – This time next I will have built on my Book Club Box idea and will have successfully set it up and have a constant income on it.
Blog – This time next year I will have my blog under control, it will be organised, constant and I’ll have built my readership and made more blogging friends.
Projects – I want to bring back the Blog Debate Chat.
Missing Monday – This time next year I will have set up the Missing Monday podcast and not have missed one.
So these are the things I want to achieve by this time next year. What are your goals?
