Sunday Sitdown and #committogetfit- 19th January 2014

So yet another week has passed and that does of course mean that we are in the second week of 2014, I can’t believe how fast time flies by. So as with my post last week it is time for me to look back on the week past.

Picture of the week…

This week I have been spending a lot of time writing my novel, and that has been doing a lot of research too. Looking back through my pictures from when I visited the Channel Islands has made me want to go back desperately, because I loved being able to see the history at every turn. This pictures signifies this, as in amongst the beautiful landscape you can see one of the German bunkers.

Thoughts of the week…

This week I have spent a lot of time thinking about the changes I want to make in my life, and the reasons that I can’t seem to make them. This is a big problem for me, as I seem to get stuck in a spiral and never seem able to change. Writing this blog helps me massively however, and I am slowly getting there.

Goal Progress…

  • Blog- This week I finally reached 500 email subscribers, 10 bloglovin followers and 50 wordpress followers, which is super exciting! Thank you so much for this, it feels really great and I am really happy that I have people who like my blog! If your someone who keeps coming back please share my posts and encourage your friends to have a look. It is a great start to my year.
  • Youtube channel- Still struggling on this front, but it is a work in progress and my videos are a better quality now.
  • Novel- Well this is the winner this week because I have been exceding my daily target! I intially wanted to plan my novel first, but that was dragging me down, so this week I just let it all go and just wrote. It worked, because I have been writing every evening and have been really enjoying it. My word count now stands at….31,581 meaning I am almost at my weekend goal too! Yay!
  • #committogetfit- This week has been really bad on the diet front, I have not cut down at all and have to be honest and say I’ve been eating crap. I need my mind to be in the right place and this week has been an anxious one for me. On the other hand I have done two three mile walks, and have been using the picture below as my inspiration. I think next week will be far better on this front!

Me slimmer

  • Labour Party- Nothing to note. I missed my CLP meeting this week because my anxiety was pretty bad, but hoping to make it along to the next one.
  • Moneuy- No progress…
