So Susan Lip Dome review

Earlier this month I attended the annual Clothes Show in Birmingham and I used this as an opportunity to seek out new products and as always my haul was rather large. Yet one brand was at the top of my must visit hit list and today I am bringing you a review of their new lip crayon, the aptly named lip dome.

Now you might recall that I have recently become bored of the over hyped lip crayon, a craze that has invaded every cosmetic brand but having recently become interested in the So Susan brand, I quickly purchased their bargain £5 goody bag, despite and not because of this product. Yet as soon as I saw the colour, Blackberry, I was sold as it’s both perfect for me and the season at present. On application the colour is even prettier that it first looks, the perfect red-wine, berry shade and it really adds a lovely pop of colour to the lips, managing to look both natural and flattering.

The strongest claim of the lip crayon is that they are uber easy to apply and this bad boy is by no means different. It’s glides on and is designed to allow easy application, with no mess or hassle. The formula is gentle, non-sticky and deliciously light and doesn’t dry out the lip as so many products do. It’s lasting time is definitely it’s biggest downfall and I would hazard a guess that it only lasts roughly 3 hours before needing significant top up.

I am pleasantly surprised by this product and while I am still bored by the lip crayon and expectantly awaiting new products, I am completely besotted with the colour of this beauty and will definitely be working this for the remained of the season.

I am also super keen to try other items from the So Susan range, have you tried anything?
