Who doesn’t love finding a previously unknown make-up brand? And on top of that, who doesn’t love finding a decent quality multi-tasking product? i’m all for getting more bang for your buck and what better way than to invest in a 2-for-1 wonder, so I was really excited a few months ago when I stumbled on relatively unknown brand, Nudestix . I’ve had this squirrelled away, ready for review for ages but at long last I am finally giving it a test drive!
As the name so elequently suggests the brand is designed around natural colours and all the products are in a stick style, coming in eyeshadows or the cheek and lip crayons. I chose the lip and cheek crayon because they just appealed to me more and I settled on the shade Ripe, a pretty natural looking red that has a slight orange tint.
I was really looking forward to this arriving as part of my SapceNK order and can you imagine my excitement when I saw this gorgeous little black tin, complete with it’s own personal sharpener. I really loved this presentation, although the actual product lives in my make-up cabinet and the tin has since found another purpose. The colour is perfect for my skin, really emphasising my lips with a “barely there” streak of colour and adding a natural flush to my cheeks. I wouldn’t suggest wearing both at the same time, as it really clashes and therefore sadly two products are still needed. Nonetheless it has a beautiful, nourishing creamy consistency, it is uber easy to blend, lasts pretty much all day and really feels nourishing and light on the lips. I must confess that I am much more taken with this as a pretty, nude lip colour but it defiantly works as both, really doing what is says on the tin.
This is one of my favourite discoveries for avery long time and I am excited about seeing the brand move forward.
Nudestix available at SpaceNK, the lip and eye pencil is £24.00.
