NARS Creamy Concealer review

IMG_0607

It’s not often that I go gaga for a concealer, despite it being one of my essential items I often find concealers to be a little same-y and at the end of the day they only do what they say on the tin- conceal. So I never imagined that I would splurge on an expensive offering, especially because the high-street has such a strong range of concealing products. Yet over the last few months I’ve definitely become a little accustomed to the designer market (yup my bank sure loves me) and during a recent impulse splurge in Selfridges I decided it was time to bow to the make-up giants. I’ve heard so many rave reviews about the NARS Radiant Creamy ConcealerΒ (Β£22, Selfridges)Β and as if on my auto pilot, my in-need-of-a-manicure fingers quickly added it to my basket. It really wasn’t my fault. No, the bank didn’t buy my excuse either but my gosh am I glad that I did, buy the product that is.

This concealer does exactly what it says on the tin and it’s creamy consistnecy makes it instantly easy to use and blends to the skin like a dream. It has a build-able coverage and two dabs is more than enough to ensure your blemishes remain sufficiently covered and it lasts pretty much all day. It’s the perfect every day concealer for the busy girl because it’s industrial-like strength will keep it in place for as long as you need it and with a slight dusting of your powder of choice it is guaranteed to last the test of time.

This concealer is actually worth its hype and while it works amazingly on any kind of blemish for me it’s most effective on my redness, my biggest problem area when it comes to skin! I love using this on a lazy make-up day because a little really does go a long way and it works with or without foundation.

I wouldn’t go as far as to call this a wonder product as such but it is pretty special and at the moment I am really enjoying using it. You can expect this to feature heavily in future favourite posts!

Have you tried this concealer? What did you think?
