My current make-up routine

20140601-171206-61926551.jpg After a slight dip in my passion for make-up and fashion, I am back to spending far more than I should and over the last few weeks (as you will have undoubtedly have seen my now) I have acquired many new items. As a result my everyday routine has changed and I wanted to show you how I’ve updated my routine and how I’ve incorporated these new purchases.

The base…
As I mentioned in my reviews of both items, I have really enjoyed using my Max Factor face finity primer with my Chanel Vitalumiere because these products together seem to make my make up last all day. I start with one pump of the primer, which I dab on my cheeks and forehead before massaging in to my skin. Secondly I apply my current concealer of choice, Benefit Erase Paste, before I finally add my foundation. While a beautiful and impressive foundation, it’s incredibly watery but this acts as a positive because the tiniest amount is needed. I’ve loved using these items together recently, and if your looking for all day lasting but natural looking make-up, I suggest you give these a try.

Bronze and Blush… Once I’ve applied my bases of choice, I then like to move to colour and adding some life back in to my face. This will be of little surprise to you, but I love using the Bourjois Bronzing Primer and I start by dabbing the smallest amount on to my cheekbones. This thick moose-like bronzer, is really dark and hence it really does only take the slightest amount. I tend to apply three pea sizes spots of this and then use my trusty real techniques buffing brush to blend it out. Usually I leave my bronzer at that, but over the last month or so, I had been adding the Soap and Glory Wonderbronze to add a little something more. This beauty is very shimmery but the tiniest amount applied sparingly to my cheekbones really lifts them and just gives them a little bit more life. To finish I’ve been using my Benefit Sugarbomb.

The eyes… Once again, I’ve been loving a bold lip and so my eye routine hasn’t really changed. I love using my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette to even the skin tone on my lids before applying a few lashings of mascara.

Lips…As you will see on my upcoming review, I have been using the Maybelline Coloursensational Shocking Coral lipstick pretty much everyday and am in love. This bold number is really flattering and easy to wear and it’s build ability makes it multi fictional! It’s just so pretty!
