L’Oreal Skin Perfection Serum Review

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! I feel that I should apologise for the long title!

So today is Tuesday and that means that it is of course “Skincare review” day. This I actually my very first ever Skincare review, so I guess we will see how it goes!

So today I am going to be reviewing the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum, which is one of a number of new products in this fairly new range. Now I bought this in Sainsbury’s and I cannot remember how much it is but at the moment Boots have a 1/3 off L’Oreal offer so it’s only £13.33.

I had been admiring this range from afar for a while but I hadn’t really thought about buying it. However last week, wanting to add something new into my routine (I will do a routine blog at some point). I had seen the new Lancôme DreamTone advertised (I’ve managed to get my hands on a sample of it so will review at some point) and wanted to find something similar, and the claims of this were very much the same. It claims to reduce pore size and even out skin tone. So lets see how it fared.

Review

So I’ve now been using this for about a week (I didn’t retake any pictures before so can’t compare it, sorry) and so I think I have a pretty good idea of how it’s working. So before using this I normally just use a face wash, a gentle exfoliate, a toner and of course a moisturiser. I guess I have combination skin and I guess generally I have pretty good skin. I do have enlarged pores mind, some scarring on my forehead and a little bit of general redness, and at the moment (I think because of a particularly bad diet) I have one or two red spots. My skin can occasionally look quite dull too.

The product comes in rich, white creamy and it looks really thick and nourishing. It has a very slight smell, and absorbs into the skin pretty fast and doesn’t look as greasy as some creams can. Now I must admit I’m pretty sure that there is a difference already. My pores definitely look a lot smaller, my skin tone and redness has evened out slightly. And I must admit my skin feels really smooth.

Now obviously I’ve only been using this for a few days, but I just wanted to review it for you at this point. Now I am going to stop using this for a short time while I try my DreamTone sample, but then I shall give you another review after using it for a while.

Next week- Lancôme Dream Tone
