January-favourites

I’ve come to really enjoy writing my monthly favourites, I think it’s because I love reading other people’s but I tend to find that some month’s are more boring than other’s. Every other month I become a bit jaded with these posts, I often feel as if I’m repeating myself and that I’m only mentioning things that I’ve mentioned before. It’s safe to say that January is the total opposite and this time around I have a lot of new things to offer. So enough chit chat, let’s get to the point, these are the things that I have been loving this month!

It could be a long list and it’s really varied!

My Pandora ring and bracelet // I’ve never really wanted a Pandora bracelet and until now I’ve let the trend pass me by but for Christmas I was bought one of the beautiful rose gold charm bracelets. I am literally obsessed with how beautiful it is and I can’t wait to add to it. I loved it so much that a few days after Christmas I treated myself to one of the gorgeous Pandora charms. I think it’s safe to say that I’ve been bitten by the Pandora bug!

Making a Murderer // It’s pretty much featured in everyone’s January favourites hasn’t it but how couldn’t it because this TV show is incredibly well done! It’s really forced some awkward questions to be had and divided opinion right across the globe. I wrote a post about this earlier in the month, so be sure to go check that out!!

New Planners // I’m a bit of a stationary obsessive and I love nothing more than investing in a new organisation tool. Admittedly this means that I have far too many notebooks but hey ho, you have to do what you have to do. This month I have been loving my Happiness Planner and it’s really helped me feel more organised.

Sweet Club // Earlier in the month I decided to try out a sweet subscription box because I’ve become a bit jaded with the beauty box options. I ordered two boxes (one for family, one for us) from the Sweet Club and by heck are they worth the money. It’s a nifty sweet idea and a great gift, the sweets are really good and there is so much to chose from.

People per hour // Would you like to be paid for the smallest of tasks and to earn a little bit of extra money on the side? Well you should really sign up for People per Hour because this clever site allows you to get paid for completing other people’s tasks.

Carex Fun soap – Strawberry laces // I’ve always had a soft spot for strawberry laces, they have always been one of my favourite sweets and so this soap had my name written all over it. It honestly does smell like the sweets and brings back all kind of childhood memories.

Glam Glow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment // I picked up this beautiful treatment on a recent trip to Krakow, where they happen to have a Sephora (all of the jealous feels). I am in love with this gorgeous, rich face mask and genuinely love how it makes my skin look and feel. Is it expensive- yes – but is it worth the price tag – abso-blooming-lutley. You can grab one of these from Look Fantastic.

Avenue Q // I went to see this super funny musical with a friend in Cardiff recently and OMG you NEED to go see it. Often dubbed to be an “adult Sesame Street” this show has pretty much everything you could want from a musical, it’s comical, has catchy songs and has characters that you can surprisingly relate too! It’s currently touring around the UK so make sure you get tickets to see it!

Welsh Bloggers // This month I got to attend my first blog event and I really enjoyed it! I was invited to attend the launch of Dior’s new foundation Forever in the Debenham’s store in Cardiff. I got to meet several lovely bloggers but I wanted to give a special shout out to three lovely people I really enjoyed talking too – Holly, Jesse and Paige. And full review to follow soon!

The Real Marigold Hotel // The second TV show in my favourites (but not the last, can you guess what comes next?) but this had to get a mention. I loved the film version was immediately intrigued by this reality show with a twist and it is so so good. It’s incredibly intriguing, the celebrities are really awesome and India looks so incredibly beautiful.

Pretty Little Liars // Another one that has got to get a mention in my favourites because I am loving the latest series. I wasn’t sure how I would take to the five year later vibe but OMG is it good. It’s so good.

What have you been loving this month?
