Current High-Street Favourites- Make-up and Skincare

I have definitely been investing in a few luxury products over the last few months, and I am now of the belief that certain things are worth investing in, but on the whole I am definitely a high-street kind of girl. There are plenty of great high-street buys out there and with the right colour, application technique and styling, you can get the best value for your money! Here are my current high-street beauties!

L’Oreal Skin Perfection, Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliater- I tend to shy away from exfoliating, but I really like this L’Oreal one. It has the tiniest of exfoliating beads, and gently buffs away the dry skin. I use this every evening after my Emma Hardie cleanser and before my moisturizer.

Soap and Glory, 3 in 1 Peaches and Clean cleanser- This is my new favourite cleanser but I must confess that I use it more of a wash than a cleanser. I use this in the morning to clean and wake my skin up. It is gentle, and smells gorgeous.

Make-up

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation- I love the YSL Touch Eclat, but surely this must be the best high-street equivalent. My skin can often look quite yellow and dull, so these types of foundations can really help brighten and even out my skin tone. While this doesn’t last anywhere near as long as the YSL version, and it’s not quite as buildable, it does the job well and I do like it.

Bourjois Bronzing Primer- The best bronzer that I have ever seen, but I do think that Bourjois is marketing this wrong. I personally think that it is too dark for a primer but it really does make the perfect bronzer. My skin is really pale and powder bronzer can often look too dark and harsh on my skin, but this cream blends flawlessy and leaves a dewy natural look. It was one of my favourite finds of 2013.

L’Oreal Le Blush-Sandal Wood pink-I love this blush because it looks rosy but natural and adds a pop of fresh-faced colour.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo eye shadows- These are the best cream eye shadows on the high-street and I adore the two colours that I have (eternal gold and permanent taupe). I have neglected these recently for my Urban Decay Naked Palette but I still love using the gold as a base, as it stops my shadow creasing.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Smokey- This double ended liner and smokey is a daily staple of mine. If I’m feeling dramatic then I will use this on my lower and upper lash line, and sometimes I flick it out. However on a daily basis I use this on my top and lower water line to give my eye definition.

L’Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist Pencil- Another double ended liner but this is for the eyebrows. I have mine in the blonde shade, and I really love it. I don’t use the wax but I really love the pencil and is the best I have found.

Maybelline Rocket Mascara-Pah, this was obvious wasn’t it? I LOVE it!!

Bourjois Rogue Edition Lipstick 07- I really love this blue-toned pink and it really suits my complexion.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABourjois Shine Edition Lipstick, 23- Amazing!

Soap and Glory Mother Pucker Lipgloss in Pink Out Loud- Pucker up homies. This is the reason I am now a lipgloss convert!!
