Autumn is my favourite time of the year but this year the fashion pack have outdone themselves and Autumn looks set to be the trendiest season of them all!! My eyes have been wide with wonder as the latest trends hit the high street, my wallet has been sufficiently strained and my wardrobe is fit to burst because this season fashion is on fire.
I’ve scanned the high-street, searched through the fashion magazines, peeked at the high street websites and narrowed the trends down to bring you this essential hit list. These are the trends that are going to be huge throughout AW15 and the one’s that you can get on right now.
“It’s so fluffy I’m going to die!” // (As seen at Stella McCarthy and Louis Vuitton).
This is likely to be a trend that divides opinion but me? I sit firmly on the pro-fluff side of the fence because textured fashion is a particular favourite of mine. So I can assure you that I’ll be hoarding plenty of faux-fur goodies over the next few months. To hit the ball out of the park look for over the top, definitely fake kind of pieces and preferably in browns and grey. If this trend is out of your comfort zone then opt for accessories instead of garments because they are far easier to integrate in to your everyday routine.
Go Boho in Soho // (As seen at Valentino).
This boho isn’t just any kind of boho because this time around boho is getting serious. When it comes to working bohemian in to your AW15 wardrobe, think of it as being boho 2.0 and it’s entirely inspired by the 70s so look for over the top florals, dark, rich colours and flares.
The Scarlett letter // (As seen at Dior and Fendi).
If you’re the kind of person that loves to stands out from the crowd and enjoys wearing bright, bold and fearless colours than this trend is sure to tick all the boxes because red is the it colour for AW15. It’s shocking and unapologetic and worn H2T, accessorised with confidence and bucket loads of attitude. However if you’re more of a shying violet type of girl then look for red hot accessories to contemplate muted tones and opt for a slick red lip to add a hint of class to any outfit. For an added pop of style, look for reds that fall on the darker side of the colour spectrum, burgundies and red wine type shades because these easy to wear colours will see you from this season to the next.
