I’m usually pretty skeptical about novel or gadget-like products, but I was bought a few of these “Colour attract” polishes for Christmas and was really excited to give them a try. For the sake of this review, I am using the colour Fuscia Force which is a really beautiful deep purple, with tiny glitter particles.
So the idea behind this product is that the “colour attract” nail polish contains tiny magnetic bits, that are pulled in to a pattern by the above panels. Seems like a good idea right? I thought so too, but does it actually work….
So let’s start by talking about the nail polish and how beautiful that lovely colour is, which it is isn’t it? The polish is really thick and rich and one layer appears really dark and thick. The formula is on the money and it feels really solid and long lasting. It also dries pretty quikcly. So the above pictures are before I tried the magnetic panels, and below is after…
I know…no difference right. At first I did start to see the pattern, but in all honesty it was barely noticeable and nowhere near as bold as they make it seem. I’m not actually sure if it even stayed that long!
Verdict- As a nail polish the formula is really rich and beautiful and I expect this to be really long lasting and chip proof, but the magnetic element is not worth the money and is by no means a revolution! So on the whole I am really glad my mum picked me up a few of these polishes but the magnets are terrible
